Mindfulness is all about being in the here and now. 

 

It teaches you how to focus on the thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and the environment around you at any particular moment without the distraction of past events or thoughts or an imagined future.

 

It provides practical techniques including breathing and meditation exercises that can be helpful in reducing symptoms of depression, stress and anxiety.
